We found out that snow has less particles in it than water. I figured it would be pretty dirty what with pollution and stuff. It did rain for a few days before it snowed the batch we collected from. So I won't be telling my kids not to eat snow anytime soon, it seems like it would be less risk to them than the tap water.
I am kind of a water snob my self. I can't stand tap water, it tastes so bad to me. I am very particular about the flavor of my water. It has to be "reverse osmosis" water for me.
