Fog fog fog

Wow, it is foggy I am picking Kaipo up from the airport. When I left the house it was sunny and as we drove it got harder and harder to see the sun looked weird for a while then we couldn't see it at all. Then it gave an air quality warning on the electronic freeway sign. Spooky!! Fog is weird it makes me uncomfortable, not to mention temporarily blind (kinda).
Kaipo's plane ended up going back to Vegas. The fog was too thick to see the runway. We ended up sitting in the airport parking lot for 2 hours waiting to see what would happen. Of course Kaipo couldn't call me to tell me what was going on, so we waited. Luckily we had the dvd player in the car so we watched a movie. He called me when he got back to Vegas and told me the news. Kelani was devastated, she misses her dad so much when he is gone. We ended up going back on Saturday to pick him up. It worked out. I am glad they didn't try to land. There would have been no way to judge depth in that fog.
