My sister in law, Kehau gave me a bulb for my birthday, I started it on Dec. 10 and it has finally bloomed, I am so excited it is beautiful. You were right Mar it is an Amarylis. I have heard of them but never seen one before. Wow it is so pretty.

My grandma had one of these a couple of years ago - I loved it! They are so beautiful - especially in the middle of winter when you are missing the sun and beautiful blooms. Awesome pic of it. Enjoyed talking with you the other day. We need to do it more often!
